We provide estate sale services in: Laurel, Whitley, Knox, Clay, Jackson, McCreary, Wayne, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Leslie, and Perry counties.
Why use us? If you are looking to downsize or liquidate an estate, we can help. A tag sale might be the most lucrative and stress free way to get rid of unwanted possessions. People participate in estate sales for many reasons including death of a loved one, a cross-country move, or simply downsizing. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t have to be a complicated venture. Let our professional team do all the work. We will execute every detail from assessing possessions to pricing and displaying them to entice buyers. Our dedication to customer satisfaction and confidence will ensure a smooth process.
How does the process work? Once you decide to sell at an estate sale, contact Mandolin Wind Estate Sales. We will provide a free evaluation in your home. You decide what you want to keep and what items to sell. Once you accept our proposal, we will receive a key to the home to prepare for the sale. We will arrange and obtain necessary permits to conduct the sale. We will clean, inventory, catalog, and artfully arrange items to make them attractive to customers. Any personal or confidential items found will be secured and returned to the client. Mandolin Wind will conduct research of unique items and price items based on appraisals, past sales data, various online databases, and experience as thrift store manager. We will market the sale through extensive advertising on our website, estatesales.net, Facebook, our mailing list, and local media to attract customers. We will post professional directional signage in the neighborhood to guide traffic to the sale. We will provide staffing, security, equipment, supplies, and expertise to conduct the sale. At conclusion of sale, Mandolin Wind arranges for disposition of unsold items. You will receive a receipt for all items donated to charity. We will coordinate pick up and loading sold items to customers. Mandolin Wind will ensure that the house is swept, the keys are returned, and the home is left clean and empty. Mandolin Wind will issue a check to the client for sales proceeds less commission within 5 business days, along with list of all items included in the sale.
